WELCOME!

You have finally found a place to call home and people you can call your church family.  Saint Patrick's Catholic Church is a vibrant, family friendly parish community located just east of I-75 (exit 207) on 15 acres of lush, tropical landscaped grounds in Sarasota, FL.

Whether you were raised Catholic, Protestant, atheist, agnostic, or have never even considered church, religion, and spirituality, there is a place for you here. Our community includes the young & young at heart.  We have Patriots and Buccaneer fans, soccer moms and golfing dads, children, singles, grandparents, empty-nesters and winter residents. And we are growing. Come grow with us!

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

"St. Patrick's to me is the best church I have ever been to, the people are simple and so nice, Father Paul and Father Russell's sermons I always enjoy, and the masses are so beautiful. It all helped inspire me to join the Catholic Church, and from the bottom of my heart I just want to say thank you and God bless everyone who attends St. Patrick's." -James

"The sermons are very inspiring. We love the music at all the masses. I still get goosebumps when we sing the Our Father." -Patrice

"A loving and welcoming parish. Fathers Paul, Russell and Mike's sermons are so uplifting. We also have a wonderful choir directed by a talented director. The happiest time of the week is when I am with my spiritual family at St. Patrick Church. Come and join us you will not be disappointed, you will find love and welcoming." -Lorraine

Join us for Mass this weekend and experience our community for yourself!  If you'd like to join our parish, you can find our PARISH REGISTRATION FORMS HERE

 Children are welcome in Church

TO THE PARENTS OF OUR YOUNG CHILDREN, MAY WE SUGGEST…

Relax! God put the wiggle in children; don’t feel you have to suppress it in God’s house. All are welcome! Sit toward the front where it is easier for your little ones to see and hear what’s going on at the altar. They tire of seeing the backs of others’ heads. Quietly explain the parts of the liturgy and actions of the pastor, elders, acolytes, choir, etc. Sing the hymns, pray, and voice the responses. Children learn liturgical behavior by copying you. If you have to leave the service with your child, feel free to do so, and feel free to come back. As Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” Remember that the way we welcome children in church directly affects the way they respond to the Church, to God, and to one another. Let them know that they are at home in this house of worship!
